The following is a copy of an email received by ECUIS for a request for funds to build a new mosque.

Assalamu-alaykum wa-Rahmatullahi wa-Barakatuh

The Muslim Charity Community of Western Australia (MCCWA)has found a suitable property in which to build its Mosque (Masjid Alrehman). The price for the property is $700-000. An offer for the purchase of the property has been submitted under the MCCWA name. The MCCWA has so far raised $375-000 towards the purchase of the property.

Rather than applying for a bank loan for the balance  required, we would appreciate if the Muslim Community can assist us by either making a donation or loaning a sum of money towards the purchase cost.
